The Team

Alt

Nico Vink

Belgian freerider Nico doesn’t need much of an introduction. He’s been with Reverse since 2009, back when he was still a World Cup DH racer (which seems like a lifetime ago...)
As a builder and rider we knew he would be the right person to head up the team, working with the guys to find new locations, new riders and new ways to push what’s possible on two wheels.

Alt

Kyle Jameson

He joined us at the start of 2018 and will play an important role in the Shovel and Shred team as one of Oregon’s finest shredders,
with an unmatched appetite for hero dirt and airtime.
Like Nico, he’s filmed a huge number of insane video productions around the world and is also in the trailbuilding trade,
so he’s got an eye for a perfectly crafted take-off and knows what’s gonna work!

Damon Iwanaga

Packing an unmatched height to boost ratio, Damon is an absolute weapon on two wheels and pretty handy on the “dad cam” to boot
(which is good, 'cause someone has to film Christian!).
Hailing from California and now living in Nevada, he’s got bikeparks on his doorsteps and a bunch of digging and filming projects in the works this year.

Christian Rigal

And finally rounding out the 4 strong team is the BMX rider and filmer Christian. He started as the videographer for the Reverse USA projects but when we saw him ride,

we were blown away and knew he had to be on the other side of the camera aswell. If you ever played Matt Hoffman’s Pro BMX as a kid,
he’s doing that stuff for real! Check out his riding here.
He’s fairly new to MTB riding which is such a great opportunity for a fresh, innovative input to the team.
We’re big fans of crossovers and stoked to see what he comes up with in 2019.
